I am broadcasting this live from the hostile confines of a certain data centre on Mombasa rd, tatatata…..tapping the keyboard in diarrhea type spasms in nothing more than a t-shirt and blasted sandals [kulikuwa na jua asubuhi]. One thing I just cannot get over is Adawnage. Yes, the band. That’s right, that awesome band. These guys have sound that’s quite frankly making sweet harmonious love to my ears.

Still in my tin house. This time though, on a bed. Would you get a load of that! Furniture. There’s some few developments too, for one, my typing speed’s improved considerably, I can type “considerably” without a glancing back at the keyboard I lie.

I hate ambitious people. They are like a plague. I mean there’s only this much *making the itsy bitsy sign with my fingers, with an Italian twinge*, enthusiasm I can take about the future and its prospects favouring you without wanting to puke.
The way I see it, ambition is . . .Oh what the heck, lemmi just say what the flab I started out saying. The fact that I don’t have a five year plan or whatever is NOT probable cause for flagging me as a directionless hobo with no sights for tomorrow, Ok. maybe it is . I just think the future should be left in the realm of the unknown you know? Oh come on! Don’t tell me the thought of being a micro speck in the vastness of the universe doesn’t intimidate you in the least bit. There’s gazillions of permutations of events that can take place on this here obscure rock in a second to plan five friggin years into the bloody future. Yeah sure the whole securing your future model works for for quite a number of people, but I’m not about to give up living for being stuck in some cryogenic existence hoping to blossom in the soddin’ future. I’m too awesome not to be impulsive.

Which brings me to my point, I want me a 32′ Samsung plasma (Oh that shyte is brilliant!) plus its reasonably priced, enough to be acquired impulsively . Now my opinionated and infinitely annoying ummmm for lack of a better description I’ll stick to friend for now, thinks its a gross mistake and makes a shanking argument why its a dumb idea for me to “spend money I don’t have”.
Can you believe the gambinos on this guy? I can perfectly make a sound financial decision on my own thank you, hehe as long as I can count on you to bail me out when manure hits the fan.
But I digress.

There’s nothing worthwhile to blog about nowadays, well except for technology. Its the only darned thing interesting enough to talk about on here, or so I think. Take for example my rambling before, we all have enough stuff going on in our own tiny miserable lives to give a damn about somebody else’s childish approach to his finances. Word? And yet those of us that still do, do it. For the heck of it. . .for selfish reasons? To revel in the flimsy spotlight of the scanty notoriety you get from suggesting your blog as an “interesting site” to your friends. . .the ones that won’t judge your pseudo intellect or lack thereof too harshly, because hey! We all need to feel good about ourselves, even when we’re being ridiculously desperate for said feeling.

Apparently knowing perl. . .well enough to make it make you breakfast, generates a stupendous amount of satisfaction so much so, you always have this smug look on your face. I WANT THAT! Therefore, I’m on a tough perl tuts diet, those php posers at work won’t know what hit ‘em, LOL why did I bring that up.

I have a friend, a new friend, a new she friend. Not (that) this kind of she friend, no. The kind that you take out bowling and you end up fighting about the content of calories in a veggie burger. . . .or some other retarded blip like that. And during the fight, it hits you, you’re having a superb time. The kind of friend that makes you want to pretend to be a big wig intellectual while all you really are is ummmm . The kind that loves board games, she recently asked if I play chess (I suck at chess, I mean the computer kicks my butt squarely even when I have it on novice, she thinks I’m a total dunce for that). The kind that has most of your flaws too, heck she doesn’t even consider them as flaws. . . .darn it I’ve “known” her only all of 2 weeks and she’s already proving intoxicating.

So today in 15 minutes I learnt how to drive. Ow quit that! Yes, I’m admitting it to the masses, prior to today the only driving I’d done was the other funky kind. I’ve always been a bike fan, but bollocks that felt el Grande. Now to doing the following:

There’s a rather tattered exercise book directly in front of me not unlike the ones
relished by carelessly callous primary school boys. Directly in front of it is the keyboard that I’m gingerly tapping away at doing this curious collection of words. Then in its front a busted keyboard,
yeah, the type that doesn’t respond favourably to my instrutions. Its sadly the betterlooking one. . .the beautiful ones are always the ones with piss for brains. . .ok wrong stream of thoughts. The screen
is directly in front of that, staring back at me expectantly as I intermittently ignore it to confirm that my reasonably fast fingers are landing on the right keys. To our right is this hollow contraption
chugging away in the dead silence of night, working dedicatedly to . . . arggh Kizungu ni ngumu, the bloody comp, yes, naked betraying my blatant neglect of its dust gathering talent. One-sided headphones
grace my ears injecting that smooth melodic cocktail unevenly. Needless to say cables
are strewn all over, heck even the socket is dangling from a cable thats snaked its way from the roof trusses(see the landlord didn’t see it fit to bother himself with the trivial issue of cabling the cubicles,
so improvisations had to be made). I have no furniture and/or bed as of yet, please laugh…I know I would if I was reading this, thus all my transactions with this here thing I’m immersed in are done on an unusually
cold floor. Thanks to my to my pillow though, my posteior embankments are seriously insulated from the unforgiving concrete beneath them. Now whatever was I on?
Oh yeah, state of mind: I feel uncomfortably at peace in this manure-hole, the mess a beautiful abstract that only I can tolerate, yeah tin houses aren’t known to house proud home-owners, so don’t be asking to come visit.
If it rains again tonight I might just stick my vulgar finger out to the heavens, darned stuff had me playing nomad in my 20×18 when it last rained at night; the roof pees, plus it feels like a jua kali shed and then some.
Bollocks I want to move! Scratch that I need to!

On to other matters.
If you don’t think the CG on  Spartacus: Blood, Sex and Savagery is amazing forget you! Oh men they nailed it on this one, Rome+Gladiator+300 all rolled into one canon ball hurtling right at your face with
each episode. Though the thought of those folks cursing, poetic as it may be (Of course I was going to quote my favourites! “Jupiter’s C*ck!” oh oh there’s one that good Batiutus[sp], who in my opinion deserves
recognition of some kind unleashes: “The gods have once more shoved c*ck in *ss”) is utterly laughable, I just fell in love with the concept of the rough, rugged and callously crass society that was Rome back in the day.
Throw in the blood (Cranberry juice?) and the CG and I was hooked! I love it, I love it! Of course the mamittas have severely different reasons for loving it, just don’t look at me funny after watching the thing expecting me to
have spontaneously generated glistening muscle tissue and shed off my excess manguos for your visual muenjoyos.

Now there’s this place en route where they sell bananas, pineapples, Papayas and vegetables. So the driver stops at the request of the invisible lady at the front to allow us to make purchases. I buy two pineapples and am thinking this shall win me points with my mathe, and distract her ableit for a bit, from the mess that is my head cover.
After we’re all done the driver does his thing and we’re off again. Now you know how pineapples have this annoying crown right? Well I had a feeble plastic bag and a small back pack so there was no way to carry my two fruits comfortably. So the Eureka ghost visits me and I figure “You have a knife! Why not chop off the crown..”
This is where I retrieve the knife from my bag…innocently, and go ahead hacking away at the tough leaves of the crown…little did I know the combination of the shruberry on my head, the knife and the oblivious casual way I was going about everything was raising eyebrows, body temperatures, and blood pressures…tri-factor kando. So I finish and pick up the leaves and put them in my plastic bag nicelyyyyyyy. Thats when I look at the mathe on my right, she looks like she just swallowed a snail.
If you remember correctly this was around the same time when the Mungiki carnage was rife. Lets just say ignorance is bliss because had I known the incredulous stares I was gettinng from offering to do people the favour I’d done myself of carving the pineapple crowns were inspired by fear, hehehe!! I’d probably have milked it.
